BETHEL — Unable to finish on a winning note, the Blanchester tennis team dropped to second place in the Southern Buckeye Athletic & Academic Conference National Division standings Monday with a 3-2 loss to Bethel-Tate.
The Wildcats fall to 8-7 overall and 4-2 in the league. Blanchester split the two matches this season with Felicity, but the Cardinals wins the league title.
Jake Miller at first singles and the doubles pairing of Hunter Collier and Hunter Miller posted wins on Monday for the Wildcats.
