WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Farmers Market staff is planning a Grand Opening Celebration 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 17, in downtown Wilmington on Mulberry Street between Main and Locust streets. A ribbon-cutting will be held at 9 a.m.

Kaity Stuckert and Sally Buchanan, co-managers of the Farmers Market, thank the community for supporting the vendors and they invite everyone to the celebration.

Throughout the morning, there will be live music from the Stuckert family, free face painting for children, and the Young’s Dairy new food truck will be onsite offering for sale homemade ice cream and other Young’s Dairy products.

The Clinton County Farmers Market is proud to be involved in bringing fresh local products for all community members. The 2017 Summer Market features seasonal produce, meats (chicken, beef, lamb and pork), farm fresh eggs, homemade baked goods, home-crafted body products, herbs, and artisan crafts such as pottery.

For the convenience of shoppers, the market will continue to accept credit and debit cards for transactions with participating vendors. They will also continue to accept EBT (food stamp) benefits for eligible food items.
