Mental Health Recovery Services of Warren & Clinton Counties, the local board of mental health and addiction services, is pleased to welcome two new members to its Board of Directors. Rachel Sams and Rahul Gupta were sworn in during the board’s recent monthly meeting.

Sams, a resident of Wilmington, has been appointed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health & Addiction Services.

She is a school social worker with the Clinton-Massie Local School District and previously worked for Solutions Community Counseling & Recovery Centers. Sams’ passion is working with youth and wants further innovative ideas to encourage support to residents needing mental health and addiction services.

Gupta was appointed to the MHRS Board by the Warren County Commissioners.

A resident of Loveland, Gupta works for Sogeti USA as a manager consultant. He also serves on other community boards including GETDOT Cincinnati and Great Parks Foundation. Gupta says he feels mental health and addiction services are critical to helping the community, and ensuring that people get help gives them a realistic opportunity to live their lives as productive members of society.

MHRS plans, funds and monitors services and programs for residents with mental health and addiction issues by contracting with local agencies to help individuals, families and others affected by mental illness and addiction.
