EC volleyball makes it 6 wins in a row

LEES CREEK – For the sixth straight match, the East Clinton volleyball team came out on top, defeating Felicity-Franklin 25-17, 25-17, 25-7 Saturday in SBAAC National Division action.

The Lady Astros are 8-4 overall and 4-2 in the National Division. Felicity is 1-9 overall and 1-5 in the league.

“The girls are excited because we are on a winning streak,” EC coach Sarah Sodini said. “We’re working to keep up that momentum.”

Logan Peterman had two kills and 20 assists and Kenzie Campbell finished with eight aces, nine kills and a dig. Myah Jones had six aces, two kills and a dig. Paige Lilly contributed 10 kills and a dig.

Kait Durbin chipped in with an ace, a kill, two blocks and five digs. Lacey Peterman recorded an ace and four kills. Kayla Hall and Sierra Christian had two kills each while Kaitlyn Talbott had one kill. Emma Malone had two digs.
