BLANCHESTER – The Blanchester junior varsity football team was defeated by Goshen 13-6 Saturday.

Derick Bowman had a 21 yard touchdown reception just before halftime to tie the score at 6-6.

Goshen won the game by scoring a touchdown in the final seconds of the game, BHS coach Brian Damewood said.

Gage Huston had a sack and three total tackles for loss. Logan Heitzman, Blake Richard, Lucas Thacker and Bryce Scalf also had tackles for loss.

Heitzman and Colt Conover both recovered fumbles. Brody Rice had an interception and returned it 35 yards before being tackled.
