WILMINGTON — J.W. Denver Williams Jr. Memorial Park was buzzing with activities Saturday from the Ahresty Wilmington Corporation Annual Kids Safety Day event.
Due the large number of Ahresty associates and their families, the event was moved to the park to allow them to experience the festivities in a different setting.
The event was a combination of a picnic and the awareness of being safe and included games for all ages, American food that was prepared and served by McCoy Catering and a national Japanese dish that was cooked and served on-site by Ahresty’s Japanese staff and advisors. Many of the participants, went homes with gifts and give away items.
Ahresty Wilmington Corporation thanks the city of Wilmington for the use of the park. Ahresty also thanks all law enforcement agencies that participated and provided information to the associates, and thanks to the fire department for the use of the Kids Safety House.
Miami Valley Hospital Care flight made a stop at the park and it was enjoyed by many.
