WILMINGTON — News from and about the World Equestrian Center is now spreading via the facility’s new print and online quarterly lifestyle publication, The World Equestrian Center Magazine.
Designed to showcase the lifestyle evocative of the World Equestrian Center and to spotlight the personalities that make the experience there unique, the magazine was unveiled during a launch gala at the Paddock Club.
Since its 2016 debut when it was formerly known as Roberts Arena, the World Equestrian Center has been lauded as a game-changer in the exclusive equestrian sports industry. The WEC currently operates 26 weeks of AA-rated Hunter/Jumper horse shows at their Wilmington facility that focus on great sport and fun in a family-friendly environment.
Construction is now underway on a second, larger World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida.
Content in the inaugural issue of the World Equestrian Center Magazine focuses on introducing the equestrians that call World Equestrian Center their home away from home including:
• The Stable Spotlight feature provides in-depth look at young trainers Ashleen Lee and Stephen Foran, who are creating a new kind of values-driven horse business at their Freedom Woods stable.
• The 24 Hours With feature gives readers the opportunity to spend a day with top trainer Jeff Gogul and what makes him tick, in and out of the saddle.
• Another article features a lighthearted Q&A with the stylish Junior rider Lilly Mack.
• There is also content in the form of stories written about World Equestrian Center horse shows and more.
The next issue will appear in April.
Print versions of the World Equestrian Center Magazine are distributed at the horse show facilities and the magazine is available online at https://worldequestriancenter.com/category/magazine/.
