Jeff Horick, left, a teacher at Hillsboro High School, addressed Tuesday’s meeting of the Hillsboro Rotary Club on the subject of the Brothers In Arms Jousting Troupe, which combines “the best elements of both full contact and theatrical jousting,” according to the troupe’s Facebook page. Horick asked Rotary secretary Bryan Smith, right, to model a suit of armor used in jousting, and then challenged Rotarian Mat Greene to take a few whacks at Smith with a sword and a jousting lance. No injuries were reported.
