HAMILTON – Natalie Lay had four hits and drove in three runs as Clinton-Massie defeated Badin 10-3 in non-league softball action at Joyce Park.
The Lady Falcons, now 9-1 on the year, led from start to finish.
“This was a good win for us,” EC coach Anthony Lauer said. “Badin has had a good program the last several years. For us to go down there and play like we did shows a lot for this team.
“Last week getting eight games in Tennessee was huge in finding out where we are as a team. We are beginning to put things together and I like where we are as a team right now.”
Lay scored two runs and homered to lead the Lady Falcons offense.
“Natalie has been a great addition to this squad,” Lauer said.
Taylor Florea won her fifth game on the mound, scattering nine hits.
