Otterbein hands WC men’s lacrosse 23-8 defeat

WILMINGTON – The Wilmington College men’s lacrosse team was defeated by Otterbein 23-8 Tuesday in Ohio Athletic Conference action at Townsend Field.

The loss puts WC at 4-8 overall and 1-5 in the conference. The Quakers will travel to Capital for a 7 p.m. match April 25.

Jhordan Lang and Andrew Miller had three goals each for Wilmington. Lang also had an assist. Connor Judge and Zac Chucta scored one goal each.

Lang and Mike Smith had three caused turnovers. Jake Ladendorf recorded 14 saves in goal on 51 shots.

Otterbein held a 32-11 edge in shots in the first half and led on the scoreboard 16-2.
