Dinner in the Fields coming up

CLINTON CO. — The 10th Annual Dinner in the Fields farm-to-fork event — the biggest and best yearly fundraiser for the Clinton County Leadership Institute — is set for Friday, Aug. 3.

Come enjoy a hearty home-cooked dinner made with all local foods, prepared onsite, featuring music all evening, cornhole games, a homemade pie auction and more.

Also learn more about the heritage of Clinton County agriculture, plus hear the latest on the county’s Leadership Clinton program and their success stories.

This year’s event will be at Hillyard Farm, owned by Craig and Becky Strafford located at 1081 Bernard Road, New Vienna.

Appetizers will be at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. For adults, advance tickets are $35, and at the farm $40; for kids ages 4-10, cost is $10; and kids 3 and under eat for free.
