Here is a look around the SBAAC and its football teams.
• Batavia and Fayetteville-Perry are the only two unbeaten league teams. The Rockets have outscored their opponents 136 to 8 while the Bulldogs have an 81 to 26 edge on the scoreboard.
• In terms of playoffs, with the top eight teams in each region advancing to the postseason, the Rockets have some work to do, sitting at No. 10 in Div. 6 Region 24.
However, the Bulldogs are No. 4 in Div. IV Region 16. They’ll have a clash at Frank Irelan Field with Clinton-Massie, currently No. 8 in Div. IV Region 16.
In fact, Batavia has three straight big-time games on its hands – Fayetteville, Massie then New Richmond.

III Region 11; Clermont Northeastern, 12, Div. V Region 20; Bethel-Tate, 15, Div. V Region 20; Blanchester and East Clinton, T19, Div. V Region 20; Williamsburg, T20, Div. VI Region 24.
• Ross 13 Western Brown 7. The Broncos gave up the winning score with 19 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. Western Brown had a 408-252 advantage in yardage. WB through 19 passes with Yani Williams catching 9 for 100 yards. Josh Taylor rushed for 114 yards and a score on 32 attempts. Logan Iams had 12 tackles while Sean Lane had a fumble recovery, a forced fumble and an interception.
• Williamsburg 21 Riverview East 8. The Wildcats rushed 46 times for 315 yards. Max Boland (16-126) and Drew McKibben (13-122) formed a powerful ground duo. They combined for three TDs. Connor May had 11 tackles, 1.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. Seth Howard also had 11 tackles.
• Purcell-Marian 35 Bethel-Tate 0. The Tigers might have made a game of it except they committed seven turnovers. Gabe Kilgore had 12 tackles; Kyle Smith had three sacks.
• New Richmond 28 Monroe 14. The Lions dominated the Hornets with 502 yards on offense. New Richmond had 364 yards rushing. Josh Anderson, the NR signal-caller, had 309 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground and 17 completions for 138 yards and a score as a passer. For good measure, he had eight tackles on defense. Tobias Kahn had nine tackles and a sack.
• Fayetteville 30 Portsmouth ND 8. Hunter Jester rushed for 138 yards and two TDs for the Rockets. Mark Wolfer had 74 yards and a TD on the ground and 13 tackles with a sack on defense.
• Batavia 26 Clermont Northeastern 7. Kaleb Moell was big on defense for the Bulldogs with 17 tackles, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
• Little Miami 20 Goshen 7. The Warriors held the Panthers to just 226 yards on offense but still came up short on the scoreboard. Adam Slusher went 18 for 131 on the ground. Michael Figgs had 10 tackles.
