Massie volleyball puts wraps on 17-3 regular season

MT. ORAB – The eighth match in 10 days for the Clinton-Massie volleyball ended with a 25-21, 25-18, 25-23 win over Western Brown Thursday in SBAAC American Division action.

“I am so proud of these girls for not only finishing strong but keeping their composure and doing the little things in a couple tight sets,” Massie head coach Stephanie Reveal said.

The Lady Falcons completed their regular season by playing six road matches in 10 days. Massie is 17-3 on the year and 8-2 in the American.

“Going to give the girls a couple days off to let legs get back under them and then start working on the little things to get ready for Badin,” Reveal said.

Clinton-Massie will open Division II sectional tournament play 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20 against Badin at Lebanon High School.

On Thursday against Western Brown, Hailey Conley had nine points, an ace, 32 assists, four kills, 20 digs and a block. Delany Miller had an assist, two kills and nine digs. Taylor Florea posted 14 points, three aces, five kills and eight digs.

Rylee Richardson had 14 points, three aces, 13 kills, two digs and four blocks. Faith Cottrell contributed five points, two aces, four assists, six kills and 10 digs. Hayley Roberts chipped in with five points and four digs.

Tyler Greathouse had five points, an ace, nine kills and 17 digs. Cadin Reveal had three points, two assists, 11 kills and five blocks. Maddie Enright chipped in with 16 digs.
