BETHEL – Led by race winner Garrett Stoffer, Wilmington’s Rodger O. Borror Middle School boys cross country team finished first Saturday in the SBAAC junior high school boys cross country championship race at Bethel-Tate High School.
Stoffer was atop the 88-runner field with a time of 11:58.96 in the 3k race.
Teammate Devon Snyder clocked a 12:20.09 and finished as the runnerup. Noah Geggie and Jaden Snyder were 4-5 in the race as the Hurricane easily outdistanced team runnerup Georgetown 30 to 64.
Jacob Ryan was Clinton-Massie’s top runner, finishing 11th overall in 13:09.07.
Dylan Arnold was the first East Clinton runner across the line in 13:55.22, good enough for 25th place.
Andrew Osborn of Blanchester ran 17:58 and finished 76th overall.
