WILMINGTON — Clinton County native Rodney Carruthers has joined Merchants National Bank as a residential loan officer.

Carruthers brings over 25 years of mortgage lending experience to the bank’s Wilmington office.

During his banking career, “he has earned many accolades for dedication to his profession,” the bank stated, adding that “Rodney’s superior knowledge and experience is a huge asset to Merchants.”

He enjoys using his finance expertise by being a member of the Finance Council at his church. He still calls the area home with his wife, Sara, and has raised his three daughters here. A graduate of Miami University, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing,
