WILMINGTON — The annual “wax museum” at Holmes Elementary School brought historic world figures to life on Friday. Second-graders assumed the character of historic people — ranging from King Henry VIII to the Wright Brothers to Martin Luther King to Neil Armstrong. Each student stood still until his or her hand was touched, which brought their character to life as they spoke briefly about that person.
