There’s no more dine-in service for the foreseeable future, but local restaurants are doing the best they can to provide curbside and drive-thru meals, and some also via delivery.

In Wilmington, in front of a few businesses are 15-minute-only parking signs to allow customers to park in front of a business as the restaurant brings orders out to cars.

“The small businesses support us, and we want to make sure everyone keeps supporting small businesses,” said WPD Chief Ron Cravens. He said the placing of the signs was a joint effort by WPD, the office of Mayor John Stanforth, and the city’s Safety Services and Maintenance and Repair Departments.
