Praying for our leaders at local National Day of Prayer event

WILMINGTON — Clinton Countians gathered for the local observation of the annual National Day of Prayer at noon Thursday outside of the Clinton County Courthouse.

They joined together to pray for our country, cities, elected officials, churches, first responders, military, our families and more.

CMH Chaplain Veronica Grabill welcomed about 40 attendees to the event. Prayers were led by pastors, deacons and laypersons including Dan Mayo, Matt Morgan, Dale McCamish, Robyn Morris, Byron McGee, Dave Hinman, Bob Baker, Matt and Beth Puckett, Sherry Weller and Larry Speelman.
