Liberty Township pays tribute to those who made ultimate sacrifice

Liberty Township held its annual Memorial Day weekend remembrances Sunday morning at Maple Grove Cemetery in Port William.

The event included the county’s color guard and firing squad salute along with the traditional naming of departed veterans buried at Liberty Township cemeteries. Jonathan McKay was guest speaker.
