Wilmington resident Dave McCune matched his birthday with the number of holes of golf he played that day.
And he walked each of them.
McCune turned 79 years of age June 17 and walked 79 holes of golf at the Elks 797 Golf Course.
Aside from the marathon feat, McCune carded a hole in one on No. 5 from 125 yards out.
