BLANCHESTER — Continental Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation in Blanchester will have an art show and auction 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11. The highest bid at 7:30 p.m. wins each painting.
This year the residents have created a Clinton County series with paintings of the Murphy Theatre, Banana Split Festival, Jeep Jam, Rock the Block, Corn Maze, Cowan Lake, Red White & Blanchester Blue, and more.
They also have a Christmas series in addition to 100 miscellaneous paintings.
Activity director Lisa Beach said they will have the paintings on display in the dining room, set up in such a way residents will be able to social distance while visiting with those in attendance.
All proceeds will go toward purchasing more art supplies for the residents.
Beach said she hopes everyone will come out and show their support. The residents love to paint and are very proud of their work.
