

The Clinton County Homeless Shelter hosted a soup-to-go fundraiser Friday at a West Main Street location where motorists are able to enter one side and exit the other side. Serving as “runners” were two members of Widows Sons Masonic R.A. Sons of Tyre, Dan Kennelly (front) and Mike Funk (back). In the car Deanna Liermann arrives with a soup order from staff at the Clinton County Auditor’s Office where she works. The fundraiser was held 33 years and 1 day after the shelter opened its doors on Nov. 18, 1988, noted Clinton County Homeless Shelter Executive Director Denise Stryker.
