WILMINGTON – The City of Wilmington announced the following closures or service disruptions for Friday, February 4. All closures are due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions.

Wilmington Sanitation Department

Landfill – Closed Friday, February 4.

Residential and commercial trash pick-up – Normal schedule.

Recycling pick-up – Canceled for Friday, February 4.

Wilmington Utility Billing

Office closed – Friday, February 4

Wilmington Building & Zoning

Office closed – Friday, February 4

Wilmington Transit Services

NEW INFO: No transit services on Friday; will resume at 9 a.m. Saturday

Other Wilmington City Offices

Expect minimum staffing. Some offices may be closed.
