WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Farmers’ Market is pleased to announce its 23rd season beginning on Saturday, May 14. The seasonal market will be open every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to noon through October 15.

The Farmers’ Market can be found in a new location for the 2022 season — the Clinton County Courthouse Square, on the Main Street side between South and Walnut Streets, in downtown Wilmington.

“We look forward to this change in location — utilizing a wonderful downtown community space in a convenient and visible location for both our vendors and customers. We do appreciate everyone’s patience as we settle into this new spot!” stated Sally Buchanan, Market Manager.

Ample customer parking will be available in the parking spaces around the Courthouse on South Street, Walnut Street, and Sugartree Street, as well as in the Courthouse parking lot off Walnut Street.

The Clinton County Farmers Market provides fresh local products featuring all locally grown and produced seasonal fruits and vegetables, meat, homemade baked goods and breads, fresh and dried herbs, honey, dog biscuits, fresh flowers, and artisan crafts such as locally made pottery, jewelry, art work, soaps, and more.

The Market will continue to accept credit and debit cards to purchase tokens for transactions with participating vendors. The Market will also continue to accept SNAP (food stamp) benefits for eligible food items from participating vendors. All vendors accept cash.

Again in 2022, the Market will be collaborating with the Clinton County WIC and the Council on Aging Southwest Ohio Senior Farmers Market voucher programs for purchasing fresh produce.

And more

The Market offers a community gathering place for friends and neighbors alike. Live music, food trucks, special recognition days, kids’ activities, and special programming such as Clinton County Farmers Market Kids’ Club will be featured throughout the season.

Kids’ Club will begin May 28th. Children ages 4-12 can sign up to be a member and will receive $3 in “Kids tokens” to buy fresh seasonal produce each time they visit.

The Market welcomes new vendors, food trucks, and entertainers for the 2022 season. For those interested or for questions regarding the Market, contact Sally Buchanan, Market Manager, at [email protected] .
