Bacon and Bits 4-H Club meets


The Bacon and Bits 4-H club met at the Clinton County Courthouse on Thursday evening, April 7 with 10 members in attendance.

President Caelyn Cruea called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. Secretary Lylah Totten read the minutes from the previous meeting held March 24. A motion to accept the previous meeting minutes was done by William Wheeling and seconded by Brylie Frommling. Seth Collins led the 4-H Pledge and the Pledge of Allegiance.

Advisor Chad Mason went over upcoming project possession deadlines and asked members what they had learned at Quality Assurance.

Next, Advisor Melanie Hill gave the dates for 4-H camp and asked who was interested in going. Camp Counselor Kailyn Mason announced that there were a lot of fun, exciting things in store for campers. Three members so far are interested in attending.

Club members will be voting on the t-shirt designs at our next meeting on April 21. There were four designs submitted to be voted on.

The meeting was adjourned with a unanimous vote. The club then enjoyed snacks provided by club supporters Sue Barr, April Beitusch and Sequoya Camp.
