Clinton County teams learned of their tournament matchups Sunday as the Southwest District Athletic Board posted drawings for the post-season which begins May 9.
No. 27 Wilmington, 2-11 at the draw, will meet either No. 2 seed Oak Hills or No. 28 Walnut Hills in the second round of the Division I bracket. Wilmington would host Walnut Hills and play at Oak Hills. First pitch for either site is 5 p.m. May 11.
Clinton-Massie was the No. 5 seed but gets Division II top-seed and SBAAC American Division juggernaut New Richmond 5 p.m. May 10.
The Lions are 17-1 and defeated Clinton-Massie (10-6 this year) in both league games. However, the scores were quite close, 9-8 at New Richmond on April 4 and 12-10 at Massie on April 27.
The Massie-New Richmond winner gets another SBAAC squad, Goshen on May 12.
