A youth softball camp will be held July 13 at Wilmington High School.

The camp will run 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is open to youth in grades 3 to 8 in any school district, not just Wilmington.

Cost is $25, which includes a shirt and lunch.

The first annual Hurricane Softball Camp will have Wilmington coaches and current and former college players who played at Wilmington. The camp will cover fundamentals and have players who can help at all positions.

Olivia Veidt and Chad Roberts will be among the instructors at the camp along with current Wilmington players and coaches.
