


WILMINGTON — The National Weather Service in Wilmington issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch Wednesday at 12:35 p.m. until 7 p.m., then followed with a Severe Thunderstorm Warning at 2:45 p.m. that is now in effect until 4:15 p.m.
The watch/warning includes Clinton County as well as many counties in southwest Ohio, northern Kentucky and southeast Indiana.
The NWS page states for Wednesday: “Several rounds of storms will affect the area, this morning and then again this afternoon into tonight. The possibility of strong to damaging winds exists with a few of the stronger updrafts this morning, with a better chance for severe weather this afternoon into this evening. Also, heavy rain may result in localized flooding with the repeated rounds of storms.
