East Clinton JV bests Blanchester in 2

BLANCHESTER — The East Clinton junior varsity volleyball team defeated Blanchester 25-15, 25-7 Wednesday night.

Coach Bob Malone said his squad came out fired up in warmups and it continued throughout the match.

East Clinton is 11-3 on the year, 8-0 against SBAAC National Division rivals.

Emily Arnold had an ace, two points, four perfect passes, five set assists and a kill. Taylor Barton had three aces, seven points, seven perfect passes and four digs. Sydney Beiting had two perfect passes and two digs. Hadlie Clark finished with four perfect passes and two digs. Liz Schiff had four points, eight perfect passes, four digs and three kills.

Karsyn Jamison had three aces, nine points, three perfect passes, a dig, a set assist, a kill and two blocks. Cheyenne Reed had four aces, nine points, three passes, four assists and six kills. Cheyenne Reed had four aces, nine points, three passes, four assists and six kills. Abbi Reynolds finished with two aces, four points, an assist and a kill. Makayla Seaman had an assist and a block.
