Clinton County Community Action received a donation of $8,500 from the First Financial Foundation with the funds to be utilized to assist with overhead expenses for operation of the Aging Up Senior Center located on Nelson Avenue.

The center, in operation for many years, moved to its current location in 2001 and with any facility requires regular maintenance and upkeep. The funds were used to cover the mortgage payments to allow other funds to be utilized for overhead expenses. The center does not receive any funding for its facility so grants such as the one made by the Foundation are utilized where needed.
