In a tough matchup with a strong Hillsboro team, the East Clinton bowlers lost a pair of matches Monday.
Despite a 424 series from Austin Alloy, East Clinton was defeated by 273 pins. Lukas Runk had a 226 game for EC.
“The boys struggled with picking up spares but overall they did really well,” said EC coach Dale Wallace.
On the girls side, East Clinton had just four bowlers. Leanna Wallace had a 300 series.
“The girls were a bowler down but they keep going and going. Very proud of them,” Wallace said.
