BETHEL — In a mostly close game, Blanchester was defeated by Bethel-Tate 55-41 Friday night in SBAAC National Division play.
The Wildcats are 4-16 overall, 3-9 in the division. The Tigers go to 11-9 overall and 6-6 in the division.
Blanchester trailed at each quarter stop but the margin was close most of the night. It was 14-13 Bethel-Tate after one and 30-24 at halftime. The Tigers pushed the lead to 43-33 after three.
Bryce Sipple led Blanchester with 16 points while Jansen Wymer had 12 points.
Nainoa Tangonan finished with nine while Dylan Creager and Cole Bradley contributed two points each.
