FELICITY — Pulling away in the second half, Felicity defeated East Clinton 63-34 Friday night in SBAAC National Division boys basketball.
The Astros are 0-19, 0-10. The Cardinals improves to 6-13, 4-7.
Xander Lake led East Clinton with 11 points. Dakota Collom had 10, eight in the fourth quarter.
“We played hard,” EC coach Clyde Snow said. “The kids really play hard every single night. We had a lot of open looks again, just couldn’t get something to fall for us.”
East Clinton trailed most of the way, but it was 27-17 at halftime. The Cardinals outscored the Astros 36-17 in the second half.
“We have a tough road ahead of us before tournament time,” Snow said. “The goal from here on out is play together and play hard. When you are together it makes a lot of things easier.”
