BBK Final: Goshen 83, Wilmington 45

GOSHEN — With a 21-4 run, Goshen emphatically concluded its senior night with an 83-45 SBAAC American Division victory Friday over Wilmington.

Goshen’s Caden Zeinner led all scorers with 20 points. Teammates Grant Steele, Conner Moore and Craig McKinney chipped in with 15, 14 and 10 points, respectively.

Mikey Brown Jr. led the Hurricane with 14 points. Bryson Platt added 12.

Wilmington trailed 50-33 entering the final period. Goshen (14-7, 7-3) scored the first eight points of the quarter to lead 58-33 at the 6:20 mark.

The teams went back-and-forth for the next few minutes before Goshen dropped the hammer, scoring 16 straight to build a 78-41 advantage and force a running clock with 1:14 left in the game.

Wilmington (4-15, 2-7) trailed just 15-12 after a quarter and 29-23 at the intermission, weathering a 7-0 Goshen spurt in the opening quarter and an 11-1 flurry in the second.

The Warriors started pulling away with an 11-2 outburst to start the second half.
