Bulldogs beat Falcons, forge tie for first in American

BATAVIA — With a 14-4 win Wednesday over Clinton-Massie, Batavia moved in to a first-place tie with Western in the SBAAC American Division baseball standings.

The Bulldogs and Broncos are both 4-1 in the league.

Clinton-Massie drops to 1-5 overall and 1-4 in the division.

Against Batavia, Massie pitching gave up 10 hits, six bases on balls and four hit batters.

On offense, the Falcons struck out just three times in the five inning game.
