OWENSVILLE — A nine-run sixth inning propelled Clinton-Massie to a 15-5 win over Clermont Northeastern Thursday in non-league baseball action in Clermont County.

Massie led 6-3 before the big inning. The Falcons had 10 hits.

“Tonight was a great team win,” Massie manager Tyler Hayslip said. “Great pitching, great hitting and great defense is a great formula to win a baseball game. We were able to do all three and come out on top. Hopefully this momentum will continue.”

The Falcons, who had lost four straight coming in to the game, are 2-5 while the Rockets drop to 3-9.
