HARRISON — Owen Goodwin narrowly missed the all-tournament team as Clinton-Massie finished seventh Sunday in the Best of the West Invitational boys golf tournament.
Playing here at Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Course, Goodwin had a 6-over par 77 to lead the Falcons (72-15 on the year) in the 22-team event.
“Course was very challenging and we did not play our best but we still finished seventh in a very good tournament,” Massie coach Phil Larrick said. “I was very pleased with how the kids competed under difficult conditions.”
Andy Steed had an 80 for Clinton-Massie and Logan Miller finished with 84. Evan Davidson carded a 92 and Colson Morgan shot 99.
Elder and Harrison tied at 316 with the Panthers getting the nod as tournament champions.
