Community members came out in droves Friday to say goodbye to beloved fire chief, Bob Wysong, who passed away Dec. 26 after suffering a medical emergency Christmas Eve. The funeral procession traveled from Bible Baptist Church in Wilmington through the heart of the Village of Clarksville to the Clarksville Cemetery. Emergency departments from throughout the county participated in the procession. Clarksville residents lined the streets as tribute to Wysong as the procession traveled through town. Wysong served as the chief of the Clinton-Warren Joint Fire District for many years.
