The Wilmington girls took the top spot just ahead of Clinton-Massie and the Hurricane boys finished runner-up behind Hillsboro in a swim meet that also included East Clinton and Greeneview Thursday at Wilmington College.

Wilmington girls winners include the 200-meter medley and 200 free relay teams of Hannah Scott, Angelica Pais Becher, Bailey Moyer and Alexa Benitez; Benitez in the 200 freestyle, Moyer in the 100 butterfly,

Massie girls winners were Malea Beam in the 200 individual medley and 400 free, Erin Belisle in the 50 free and Ellie Smith in the 100 breaststroke. That trio plus Emma Everitt took the top spot in the 400 free relay.

Allison Browning won the 100 free for Hillsboro.

Greeneview’s Allison Stonerock tied with Wilmington’s Moyer for the victory in the 100 back.

Kaylyn Deaton was East Clinton’s lone girls scorer with a third-place finish in the 100 breaststroke.

On the boys side, the Hillsboro quartet of Carson Scott, Cameron Burkard, Robert Schneider and Ryan Howland won the 200 medley relay. Burkhard also won the 200 IM as did Schneider in the 100 free.

Wilmington boys winners include Aidan Benitez in the 200 and 400 free. He also was part of the winning 200 free relay team with Sam Burt, Cooper Short and Preston Zeigler.

Barrett Beam won the 50 free for East Clinton. The Astros also got a victory from Elyon Hackman in the 100 back. That duo was part of the winning 400 free relay team with Jacob George and Eoin Hackman.

Quinton Smith took the top spot in the 100 breast for Clinton-Massie.

Jethro Hoke won the 100 fly for Greenview.
