WILMINGTON — The following report is generated from incident reports provided by the Wilmington Police Department. All those charged/arrested are presumed innocent until possibly found guilty in court. Charges may be dropped or changed in court.

Wilmington police recently processed the following reports:

• Police arrested a 32-year-old Port William male for allegedly operating a vehicle under the influence and improper handling of a firearm at 12:18 a.m. on January 9. According to the report, police stopped a vehicle for traffic violations at the 300 block of East Main Street. Police found the driver to be under the influence of alcohol. Police also found “four firearms, two loaded, within (the suspect’s) reach.”

• Police arrested a 25-year-old female for alleged drug paraphernalia, obstructing official business, and criminal damage at 11 p.m. on January 11. According to the report, the suspect was a wanted female and was located at a hotel on Carrie Drive. Once contact was made the suspect “fled out the window and ran to a nearby parking lot where was placed into custody,” the report states. The report indicates a loaded hypodermic needle was seized. A window screen was indicated as being damaged.

• Police arrested a 28-year-old male from Portage, Michigan for alleged assault at 3:30 p.m. on January 10. According to the report, the incident took place at a Jodie Lane residence. A female neighbor was listed as the victim. The report indicated the victim had apparent minor injuries. No weapon was reportedly used. Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected to be in use.

• Police arrested a 34-year-old Perrysburg male for alleged telecommunication harassment at 9 a.m. on January 9. According to the report, a female subject reported “repetitive harassment by her estranged spouse, after being advised to no longer contact her.” No further details were provided.

• Police arrested a 34-year-old man for alleged aggravated menacing at 3:55 p.m. on January 11. According to the report, police received a complaint of a protection order violation at a North Walnut Street residence. The victim listed in the report is the spouse of the suspect. No injuries were reported and neither drugs nor alcohol were involved.

• Police arrested a 40-year-old female for alleged drug paraphernalia, crack possession, schedule I/II/III drug possession, and obstructing official business at 2:50 a.m. on January 14. According to the report, the suspect was arrested during a traffic stop around Walnut and Doan streets when it was discovered there was a warrant for her. Police seized a blue meth pipe, a clear container with a crystal-like substance, and a “white unknown substance.” The suspect narcotics were sent to the lab for analysis.

• Police arrested a 42-year-old male for alleged criminal trespass at 7 a.m. on January 10. The report indicates the incident took place at the shelter on East Locust Street. Drugs were suspected to be involved – though it did not specify what kind of drugs. No further details were listed.

• Police arrested a 43-year-old female at 7:50 p.m. on January 13 for an alleged open container violation. According to the report, the suspect was arrested at the 600 block of Fife Avenue after police found she had an active warrant and was found to have an open container of alcohol.

• Police arrested a 56-year-old female for alleged drug paraphernalia at 9:10 p.m. on January 12. According to the report, police observed the suspect and discovered they had an active warrant and suspected drug paraphernalia was located.

• At 11 a.m. on January 8, a 54-year-old female told police someone slashed her tires while it was parked at the 300 block of East Locust Street. No suspect was listed in the report.

• At 6:31 p.m. on January 8, a 25-year-old male reported damage was done to the rear tear on the driver’s side of his vehicle. The incident took place at the 700 block of Davids Drive. No further details were listed.

• At 12:36 a.m. on January 9, police responded to a residence on Mead Street on a possible breaking and entering. No further details were listed in the report.

• At 11 a.m. on January 11, during a traffic stop on Eastside Drive police located “suspected amphetamines” in the vehicle. Police seized the suspected drug. No suspect was listed in the report. An investigation is pending.
