Centre College clobbers Quakers in 2024 baseball opener

DANVILLE, Ky. – The Wilmington College baseball team struggled in its first outing of the 2024 season Saturday afternoon on the road at Centre College, losing 22-4.

Wilmington and Centre are scheduled to play a doubleheader at Center College today at noon.

The Quakers were unable to score against Centre until putting up four runs in the top of the sixth inning.

Kyle Jennings had two hits and an RBI for Wilmington while Carter Scheben had two runs batted in with a double.
