Marietta sweeps pair from Wilmington College at AIA field

XENIA, Ohio – The Wilmington College baseball team lost a doubleheader to Marietta College 14-1 and 17-0 Saturday at Athletes in Action Sports Complex.

The games were moved to AIA due to poor field conditions at Wilmington.

In game one, Jared Lammert led the Quakers with three hits while Eli Hollingsworth had two. Evan Kelsey drove in Wilmington’s run.

In game two, Hollingsworth led Wilmington with a pair of hits. Lammert and Max Gildea both hit a double.

Wilmington plays the Ohio Northern University Polar Bears 1 p.m. today in a doubleheader.
