New Richmond takes down Wilmington 13-5

NEW RICHMOND — Both teams had 12 hits but New Richmond put more runs on the board Monday in a 13-5 win over Wilmington in SBAAC American Division softball.

The Lions are 8-2 overall, 2-0 in the division. The Hurricane drops to 4-2 overall, 1-2 in league play.

Makenna Dorsch led Wilmington with three hits while Jaydin Applegate, Lilly Trentman and Addi Kretchek had two hits each.

Lauren Diels took the pitching loss.

Danni Riley had a hit and scored a run. Diels scored twice and had one hit.
