Bulldogs take bite out of Astros 11-1

BATAVIA — Batavia defeated East Clinton 11-1 Saturday in a non-league softball game at BHS.

The Astros drop to 2-13 on the year.

East Clinton had five hits — doubles by Taylor Barton, Sydney Beiting, Novalee Dotson and Chloe Scott and a single by Anna Lopez.

Barton had the lone run batted in for EC while Dotson scored the run.

Scott took the loss in the circle, but gave up just three earned runs. She had eight strikeouts and one walk.
