WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Humane Society is holding a quilt raffle as a fund-raiser for the animal shelter at 1760 Fife Ave.
Georgeann Quallen of Wilmington quilted and donated a beautiful 58-inch x 70-inch Pioneer Sampler, which can be viewed at Cotton Junky in Wilmington.
The drawing will be held Nov. 8, in time for holiday giving. Tickets are $1 or six for $5 and can be purchased at: Cotton Junky, 110 W. The Clinton County Humane Society is a no-kill, nonprofit, volunteer-based organization. It does not receive county funds or any government funding and depends solely on private donations. It has adopted more than 7,000 animals since its inception.
