LEES CREEK — The Clinton-Massie tennis team closed its regular season with a 4-1 win over South Central Ohio League and county rival East Clinton on the EC courts.

Kelly Deatherage had a 7-6 (7-3), 6-0 win for CM at third singles while the first doubles team of Emma Bailey and Claire Carruthers rallied for a thrilling three-set win 6-4, 1-6, 12-10.

Marissa Williams had the lone win for the Lady Astros.

Clinton-Massie is 5-7 in the SCOL and 10-9 overall. Coach Lynn Deatherage said this was the first winning regular season for the Lady Falcons in recent years.
