Browning wins Blanchester Inv. JH boys race

BLANCHESTER — Hunter Browning, an eighth grader, was an easy winner Wednesday in the Blanchester Invitational junior high boys race on the Blanchester Local School District campus.

Browning finished the two-mile race in 11:52.58, outdistancing the runnerup by more than 30 seconds.

Blanchester was fourth in the team standings while East Clinton was sixth.

Aiden Henson was the top Astro runner, clocking a 12:55.09.

Joe Hammonds was first for Massie at 15:59.91.

In the girls race, none of the county schools had a full team.

Lilly Lentine of CM ran 14:32.5 and Ally Davis of Blanchester finished in 14:51.1. They were both in the top 10. Mersadees Gulley of East Clinton ran 17:33.01.
