Blan Fall Kickoff Fest Saturday

The Blanchester Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor the second annual Fall “Kick Off” Festival this Saturday, Oct. 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the front lawn of Blanchester High School, at 953 Cherry Street. If the weather is bad, it will be moved inside the school.

The festival will include a radar speed pitch, football toss, inflatable bounce houses and a large inflatable football-shaped bounce house. There will be 50-plus vendor booths to browse through offering a wide variety of items for sale.

Some of these items include handmade Christian t-shirts, handmade jewelry, crafts, Halloween decor, wreaths, toys, Blan logo sweat shirts, books, ornaments, crochet items, wood items, paintings, twist n shout salsa, cosmetics, vitamins, gourmet mixes, ballet jewelry, fossils, minerals, coins, collectibles, oils, candles, dolls, pillow pets, bath & beauty products, beanies, boot socks, hand warmers, cup sleeves, leather items, headbands, Mary Kay, Tupperware, paper crafting, skin care, jamberry nails, handbags, stationery, weight loss, purses, coolers, wallets, totes, massages by Health Quest, 3D and fiber lashes, living lockets, dip and bread mixes, wax warmers, energy drinks, crafts, wildcat jewelry and much more.

Plus there will be a variety of food, including funnel cakes, tenderloins, cotton candy, sno-cones, lemonade, hot dogs, pepper jellies and jams, Italian ice, beef sticks, hot cider, and various desserts.

There will also be a petting zoo.

Chamber president, Lisa Beach said that American Showa is helping man some of the inflatables and are allowing the use of their parking lot for overflow parking. Beach also encourages everyone to stop by the Chamber of Commerce booth to take part in split the pot.
