The Blanchester eighth grade girls basketball team defeated Amelia 38-2 Monday night.

Casey Kingsland and Lana Roy had 11 points each for Blanchester. Kingsland also had seven steals, five rebounds and two blocked shots. Roy had five steals and two rebounds.

Maddie Pohlman had six points. Noelani Tangonan had four points, two rebounds and two steals. Caili Bauman chipped in with four points, seven rebounds, three blocked shots and three steals. Madison Wells scored two points, grabbed three rebounds and blocked a shot. Becca Kratzer had two assists and two steals.
