France leads CM boys vs. Reading, at Big Blue Challenge

The Clinton-Massie boys bowling team defeated Reading 2,220 to 1,490 Tuesday at Royal Z Lanes.

The CM girls, with just three bowlers, were defeated by Reading 1,307 to 588.

Jennifer Callewaert had 233 (111, 122) and Emily Rager had 191 (105, 86). Kylie Harvey had a 164 series.

For the boys, Aric France led the way with games of 211 and 258.

“Aric had a great night of bowling,” CM coach Shonda Marburger said. “During his second game, he struck in the front 8 (frames).”

Jacob Wellman had a 396 (214, 182) and Kenton McInerney had a 341 (154, 187). Joey Marburger had 337 (166, 171) and Corey Potts finished with 324 (166, 158).

In the Big Blue Challenge tournament at the Game of Fairfield, France had a 669 series and earned all-tournament honors. He was seventh among individuals with games of 212, 232, 225.

As a team, the Falcons were eighth out of 28 teams with 3,873.

Marburger had a 612 series (168, 204, 240) and Wellman had 547 (181, 234, 132). McInerney had games of 200, 159 and 175. Chandler Morsch had a 167 game and Potts bowled two games, 170 and 128.

Baker games for the Falcons were 169, 193, 178, 177, 172, 157.
